One of my best friends from high school managed to “navigate the labyrinth which is life”, as I phrased it to him, and managed not only to work for the CIA for the last few years (I’m allowed to say it, it’s even repeated on the blurb for the book) as well as write a novel – A Once Crowded Sky. I haven’t read it yet, but it’s getting great reviews, as well as being a sort of combination written novel and graphic novel, if I understand correctly. Someone else did the art for it, but from what I’ve gathered, it has something to do with superheroes, but not your average superhero story. It’s more … poignant, more adult-oriented in its themes and storyline. I’m quite looking forward to reading this little tome, and my congratulations to Tom – I always knew you’d fly high yourself, my friend.
