Something is wrong with Geoffrey… I’m not sure what. It started off like a usual case of an upset stomach (he becomes kind of withdrawn and less spunky… I can always tell), usually it’s just stomach acids which he will barf up, and always twice, one right after the other. A quarter tablet of Immodium AD and he’s usually ok. But this time he has been yowling intermittently. Those who know Geoff well know his pre-barf “mow-wow-wow” noise; this isn’t that sound. It’s an upsetting yowl, a cry… But he isn’t sick like usual.
I think he’s eating, I know he’s drinking, but his nose is dry. He seems kind of weak, and doesn’t seem to be in pain when I massage him or gently rub his joints, especially his rear hips. I am worried he may have lost even more weight since I think his fat roll on his neck might be smaller than a week ago…
Half is fine, maybe a little less spunky as usual, but either it’s cause Geoff isn’t feeling well or there WAS some sort of side effect/reaction to the vaccinations.
I called the vet, they said none of the vaccinations should have had delayed side effects, if any. Although maybe he did have some and I only noticed them a couple of days ago. If he’s not noticeably better tomorrow, we go back to the vet.
I’m … yeah, I’m scared. Concerned. Not going to think about it more than I have to until I wake up.
